New to the site not sure if this is the right place to post or not. So here is my question--has anyone or does anyone know if you can update the old mechanical brake steering to the new hydraulic system?

I don't know if the brakes can be updated. I think in the 80's there was a different firewall for the hydraulic brakes and the mechanical ones. I would try Leo's ASV (440)-285-1730. If they can be updated he should be able to order it for you.
