    Forum Rules

There is one purpose of this forum - "To promote the amphibious ATV hobby in a positive and family friendly way". In order to ensure that goal is reached while we continue to grow, we have outlined the official rules of the forum here for anyone with questions.

    General Rules
-We take the "be polite" rule seriously. This is a family friendly forum so consider that when you post. Remember to stay mature and thoughtful at all times.
-All posts should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective but you must remain calm and respectful to other members at all times.
-Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed and you will be banned for doing so.
-Use the search BEFORE posting or starting a new thread to make sure the topic has not previously been discussed.
-Only post in the English language.
-Refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts.
-Refrain from posting the same question in several forums. There is normally one forum which is most suitable in which to post your question. If you are unsure where to post ask a moderator or administrator.
-If replying to multiple posts use the "+" button to quote multiple post at once. Posting several posts in a row is not allowed. It unnecessarily increases the size of the threads, the database, and your post count.
-Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, messages, comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.
-Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. A reasonable amount of time is no less than 12 hours after your initial post.
-We do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate 6x6 World community standards. The 6x6 World team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
-You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.
-You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests.
-We reserve the right to ban anyone who violates the forum rules.
-We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
-Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

    Advertising
-Commercial posts by anyone other than an approved 6x6 World Vendor are not allowed in any way. This applies to dealers, businesses, and individuals selling multiple quantities of parts.
-If you violate this policy you will be banned permanently from this site without warning.
-This means if you are an ATV dealer we do not want anyone on the site to even know in any way that you are a dealer or own/run a business.
-Do not post saying that you are a dealer.
-Do not post links to your website or product.
-Do not post as a business or repetitively use the term "we" or "us", etc when posting.
-Do not post images or videos that show your dealership, website, or inventory.
-Do not post links to your site on the forums, in the links section, in your signature, in your profile, or anywhere else on 6x6 World.
-We do not allow anyone to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds, competitions or request donations. Advertisements will be deleted and members will be banned.

So as a dealer, business, etc what can I do to advertise on this site?
Read this thread for more info: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/6x6-w...6x6-world.html

What happens if I see a thread/post which has broken a rule?
Please report the thread/post to the moderators using the white triangle (report-40b.png) "Report Bad Post" link, which appears in the bottom left-hand corner of every post. This report will be sent to all moderators of that particular forum, who will respond to the incident as quickly as possible.

Lets bring this back to the board in response to the non hobbyist advertisers who occasionally invade our site.

Our glorious leader MIKE spends a lot of his precious time policing the forum to keep them away and make this a more enjoyable place for us all.

If we report these posts, it will help Mike spend less time searching for them and more time fixing that Avenger that we are all anxious to see

Thank You Mike for all your hard work.
