Almost all king. Mud, hard, snow, swamps and so on. All the time in the woods, no road.
    thank you

I don,t have experience with either but when picturing your surroundings I think the aquatorque look more durable when it comes to bouncing off rocks and stumps

The Aqua torque tires are exellent in the mud and swamps where we ride at. They probably swim about 2 mph. The Carlisle tires that come on the Avenger won't even come close to following the Aqua torque tires in mud with very little water in it.

I have had the AT 189 series on my 06 Avenger and the 2011 has them also. I think they are a very good tire. Swim speed 3.9 in the water and excellent in the mud. I have never ran the other brand but i have never needed to. The AT 189 is expensive so make sure they are what you want. The ones on the 06 all were within 1/4 inch of each other at 5 psi. Which is pretty good for AATV tires. Hope this helps

I've tried both tires. Both do as they are designed to do. The Aquatorques ride too harsh for my tastes. I agree with Lewis that the AT 189 tire swims fast and muds well. The price is the kicker though. I prefer the AT 189 because it is an excellent all around performer and I can switch these tires on other machines I own with no clearance issues.
The ride of the 189 is amongst the smoothest atv tires I've ever ridden. The one set of Aquatorques I tried were a full 25" and would not work on my Max2 machines but will work on Hustlers and Max4's and I think should work on the Avenger as well.

The AquaTorques will skidsteer better but ride worse. Water speed is better with the Argo tires. Tough to beat the off road performace and durability of an AquaTorque tire. Run them with 0psi and you will never have a flat. Did I mention they look really cool.

    Hi,

I have the AquaTorques on my Max IV. They skid steer very well, better than any other tire that I have used. With a Max IV, they barely swim. The ride is extremely rough. Even running 0 psi, the ride is punishing. I plan to take mine off and go to a smoother riding tire. My old Vampire TSL 25x13x9 at 3 psi rode like a dream, and swam just as good as the AT's. I am sure the AT's are very durable, but my back can't take the ride. I plan to sell mine, almost new, if someone wants to get a set of AT's cheaper than buying brand new. Send me a PM. Pete Fazio
