    Tire and track issues

    Swapped out my 26” tires for 21” with the hub extensions and Max rubber tracks with cleats. I have the issue of the tires not wanting to hold air now that I’ve aired them down to crush and get the tracks on. I really don’t want to remove them to reseatbthe beads only to have the same issue. Can you teseatbwith them on the machine? Maybe tube? Or jack it up throw some slime in the tires and run it to seal the leaks? Also, what tubes are you guys running and have had good luck with?     danny...just curious , who makes the tracks you have and i'm not sure how a one piece track is made without any point of connection unless the rubber is glued together at some point. can you seperate the track and use a couple of strong hinges with a pin so you can make the connection using a ratchet strap with the front and rear tires aired down ? johnboy va.

    I had the very same problem last year. I filled the tires with Quad Boss tire sealant. It worked great. Give it a little time to do its thing. It’s good to-33. Do not run tubes. There’s s good chance the tire will spin on the rim and shear the stem off. Guess how I know that.
    What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

    I no trouble with beads leaking when airing down the tires , but do not run tubes as tbone9 said i ripped off more valve stems in a week then i had tires on my buggy.

    You guys use the metal valve stem HD tubes with lock nuts? I've yet to wreck one...

    Yes. Good tubes and metal stems. They lasted about 1 mile.
    What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

    I use the Quad Boss as well. Stuff is amazing. I took a good day of riding for the stuff to work properly.

    I had the luxury of wrecking one while plowing yesterday...either I didn’t put enough air or it had a leak and the tire spun on the rim...ripped the valve stem from the tube (locknut style) oops. It was the front one too. So while I was getting a new tube in place I swapped the center tire to the front and remounted the tracks...what a pain. Oooops ��*♂️
