    Argo for Hunting

Hey guys I'm just getting into small game hunting, fished for years always wanted to hunt but the courses required never lined up with my work schedule untill last fall when I completed the course and sent out for my PAL. I have a older argo in my yard that I've been slowly working on, does anyone use their older(80s/90s) Argos for small game hunting? Or are they too loud and scare them off for miles before you get there.

I have a couple 8x8 Conquests, one is low geared and makes a lot more noise than the other. I hunt with both and have not noticed any difference in the amount of game I see with either unit. Moose OR chickens is what I would usually be targeting while out with an Argo, Neither of those could be considered "sharp sticks" in the bush though.

those old ones make more exhaust noice then anything and especially older when they burn most of the packing out of the exhaust . but like most everyone u take argo to a certain spot and walk a bit etc unless u get lucky and run into one LOL
