Avenger Tires

Got my new Ducks unlimited magazine a few days ago and the Argo ad had the slanted tread pattern tires. They are the same as what was in the video clip of a factory test ride.Does anyone know what they are?Are they Argo tires like the Frontier tires?

eddieb1965 ,

I did not even notice the difference in the tread pattern of the tires mounted on the Argo Avenger when I first posted the video , but , when some one mentioned the new tread design , I went back and watched the video once more . It was then that I noticed the difference myself . Most of us on the forum are aware that the Argo Frontier has a unique tread design , and it has proven to be far superior to the Good year rawhides that are used on the other Argo models . Maybe this new tread pattern that was shown in the video , will be unique to the 2009 Argo 8x8,s ?

Has anybody been able to find a good picture of that that Avenger tire beside the quick glimpse on the video?

New Avenger Tire

When I was at Ledges I asked the factory rep. about this tire and he said it was an experimental tire that they tested but it didn't pan out. The treads run at about a 45 degree angle.
