Boncrshr ,

BRAVO ! Two Big Thumbs up !

That was some really good 6x6 , amphibious action ! We both really had to work HARD to keep our amphibs moving in that pudding mud . I,m sure you were exhausted after struggling through that long mud hole , I know I was !!

mightymaxIV ,

My favorite was river run part 3 . I was amazed at the difference in the video quality of the part 3 video , when you click directly on the Utube URL link that,s at the top of this video . Watching this same video on 6x6 world , and then watching it again on Utube , is about a 50% improvement in video clarity . A night and day difference I,d say . In this video you could see the rocks , tree roots , trails filled with water from the last rain , and the drop off into the water section ,that was filled with swamp stuff .

Noel with his 18 hp Max II , wants to go to River Run atv park the week after the 4th of July . Today I had all my Good year Terra tires taken off at Walmart , and then replaced them with my mud eating 26 inch Gators , all facing forward , for maximum traction . I,ll be ready this time . The soupy mud and the pudding mud really gave my Good year , terra tires a hard time , because there was so little water at the park . If I would have had all six Terra tires mounted in the swim position on my Max IV that day , instead of the two Gators facing forward on the front , in the places that boncrshr and I drove our amphibs through , and struggled to do it , I would have been dead in my tracks , with the mud glazed , Good year , Terra tires . No doubt about that !

Great vidoes, looks like you guys had a blast. That’s a lot of boodie shakin, bon. Thought I heard KC and the sunshine band playing in the background...
How did the new gears work out?

You are so wrong Mr. Meinfeld...for KC to be playing I would have had to be shaking my bootie AND wearing roller skates!! That may have been more of a Sweet Home Alabama moment??

Yeah, we had a great time. That park is awesome....the terrain was not really any different than where Mudbug took me the first time, but the hot showers after the ride made all of the difference in the world. The only thing was I remembered towel, soap, undies, fresh shirt...no pants! So I washed the mud out of them and wrung them out...Dave suggested I sit on my sunshade which reflected my bootie heat back to me and was less miserable.

The new gears made all of the difference in the world! Still not a beast like your Hustler, but it climbed any hill without squealing the belt. Here's the weird part...I clocked my speed with GPS before the gear change at 21mph. Went from a 30 tooth to 40 tooth drive sprocket and my top speed is 21 mph?? I guess I am not lugging the motor now?? I am going to go with a little bit looser belt I think. This belt is very tight and I don't think it is climbing to the top of the clutch...but I have exactly 1" of deflection. Thoughts??
