    T-20

    I had my max iv out yesterday and got hung up in the mud I can not get the machine to steer left wheels will turn on both sides.Broken Band in trans?or what?

    well I decided to take the trans out and then I was feeling really adventurous and took it apart not as complicated as I thought anyway yep its a broken band

    that's great that you decided to jump into the trans. They are not that complicated at all. Experience is the best teacher, you can get a new band from the factory, and if the other ones needs lining, Transmission Crafters in Albany, Ga will square you away!!

    Just to add to FMINTS comment. While you have it apart is the best time to get the other 3 relined. (unless the other bands have a lot of material on them) Then they will all have the same amount of friction material on all bands and makes adjusting easier and stick travel similar. If you understand what I mean. But way to feel ambitious and dive right in. thats the spirit
