I sleeve them and turn back to standard. The other choice is install new bushings that are always a few thousands under size. Polish the drums and fit them to the bushings. I use 4140 for the sleeve material to try and match the hardness of the original drum. Factory bushings require fitting to size. whipper posted a video on bushing install procedure.
Pressed in new bushings and WOW! are they undersize, a full .027 undersize. Ended up just turning the drums and they cleaned up just to the bushing size. No sleeves. IMG_0553.jpg
here I am boring out some other bushings for good drums. IMG_0570.jpg
Yep, three at once. one is an old Borg Warner with supported shaft. Anyone need this? IMG_0555.jpg
