will this fuel pump be suitable for tecumseh?

Just wondering if this be enough?

Piaggio X8 125cc Vacuum Fuel Pump | eBay

I've tried it with an electric fuel pump and a boat hand pump but no luck, runs well when fuel tank is held above.

What is the issue you are having? What kind of electric fuel pump did you try? Where did you locate the electric fuel pump in the fuel line? Have you tried to disconect the fuel line at the carb. and see if you had fuel when turning the engine over?

its just not pulling fuel through. Tried the lowest pressure fuel pump I could get but think it was too much, had it situated on the arch just beside the air vents in the body. The fuel input connection on current vacuum fuel pump thats on it has cracked out of the pump and can only push it back in so could be an air leak there causing the fuel to run back. Also the diaphragm inside the pump could have lost its seal.

No haven't tried turning the engine over without the pump on the carb, will check it out.

Fuel pumps do poorly at pulling. Try mounting near tank and pushing the gas instead.
