Hi Tory, I didn't know they make a 6 wheel Avenger. I have seen a prototype 8 wheel Frontier that I read somewhere that Argo are releasing. Are you sure about the 6 wheel Avenger? W. Philip Cox

      Hi Philip
I took this picture at Copper Ridge in the spring of 05. The Argo R&D crew had several machine's there doing field tests and I was one of the Lucky!!! few to see them. The blue machine is a 8x8 Avenger which the Argo engineer's cut down to a 6x6. I wish I had a better picture of where they cut the upper and lower behind the seat. If you compare a picture of a Frontier to this machine you will see the differance in the hood, grill, lower front body, and the step over area where you get in. the dash is also the same as the Avenger. We could only hope they might consider this machine to replace the 6x6 Conquest in the future. I hear Argo will be making changes in their 2008 line up but I dought we will see this machine.

Thanks for the "inside" information Tory. Yes it's obvious that it's got most of the features of an Avenger including the bigger wheels. At least the people at ODG were (are?) thinking about changes. Hope they see Whipper's springer! W. Philip Cox
