      here are the axles that came with the project. they were in pretty rough shape when I got them and were just tossed in a metal bucket. it looks like who ever took the machine apart had a hard time. The axles were full of dents from hammering the sprockets off and bearings and were rusted up a bit. One of the axels was also broken right next to the spline where the bearing sits, that one was replaced with a new axle
