Oh yes, each of the cap screws has a washer behind it, so if you just pull the cap screw out attached to the socket they will fall off ... down into the bottom pan where you will have to retrieve them. I used an extendable magnet to catch them before they fell down there. Then insert the business end of the hex head socket into the head of the screw. You can look down on the uppermost one if you have the hood removed ... but it's pretty much a 'feel your way' job. That socket ... which I got from NAPA ... is a good length so it makes it easy to do. Substitute filter from a local auto parts dealer (begins with N ends with A and two other letters in between) ... Part number 23301 ... Cost $4.88! Yes. I did write that correctly! Your choice if you ever need to replace it. And Argo suggests you need to after every 1500 hours. Perhaps sooner in some cases. Please notice the orientation differs. You might possibly be fooled by the looks, since the 'top', so to speak, of one is the 'bottom' of the other. Check the arrows! Also, the overall length from one tip to the other is identical, but the body of the 23301 is a nice bit shorter, so you might need to use a longer piece of gas line hose to connect it to the fuel, pressure regulator.
