Description: I have been stalled out on this project since playtime is kinda low in the spring summer months but I have managed to get chains and a few more tasks done recently, Looking forward to some more time to work on it comming up. Note the Pick-up style rear end of the attex now

Description: I guess after the Busco Ride Chris felt a littel sad for me because untill this machine all I have is projects and my rides have been limited to test runs..lol. So She found this little gem and gave it to me for easter. it's serial number is in the 9000's and it runs and drives like it's new. Yeah!!!

Description: The work on the Attex body is coming along, I am racing the clock for Busco, but It may just make it, Chris thinks I should change the name of it from mama's lil tank to frankie the tankie, I'm not a fan... Frankenstine still had the neck bolts when finished, the Rivits are now slowly taking a hike. We'll see more to come

Description: Looks like the first run of plastic rolling was a success, this run shows the use of a very thin mix, the mixture was adjusted after this to thicken it up More plastic seems to be the theme in all of these repairs

Description: Paint? nope... Plastic coated, once I hit this with another coat and give it a once over with a round of 1200 wet sanding it will be all kinds of shine I used a higher ratio of acetone with the ABS pellets and mixed it to a cheap Ketsup like level than rolled it on with a very low nap 6" adhesive roller. The plastic goes on really nice and even I will have to adjust the mix a little as this was the trial run but wow.. instant shine

Description: Problem: I have two different tub pieces from two different years of Attex machines, Solution: Thanks to larry, I got the idea of how to cut the top down to fit the bottom and have a stylin new Attex when I am done Here you see the Jig I made to fit to the saw horses the top is sitting on for it's concurrent rebuild.. wish me luck

Description: The project seems to be comming along. I found all of the holes and now I just have to fill them with REAL plastic.. Let's see what we can melt down around here to do that.. I ran out of reuse plastic pretty quickly filling the gas cap hole, but found that 6mm polished Airsoft BB's are sometimes made of ABS, so basicly thats about 9$ for 3.5 pounds of high quality ABS perfect for melting, choose a color

Description: I used a board wrapped with a cloth and then streached some heavy duty aluminum foil around that. the board was cut to fit the profile of the tub. This allowed me to turn the tub on it's side and basicaly just fill the hole with melted ABS. let it stand for a week and the board just popped right out leaving a very good repair behind. some small bit of the foil are still stuck to it but I will sand it before repeating the process on this side
