Different Style T20 Output Shafts

Description: I didn't realize that there were two different styles of T20 output shafts. The newer version is on the top in this photo and it has the sprocket serrations further outboard, spacing the sprocket away from the transmission case. The output shaft on the bottom is from an Attex and it originally had the brake adapters welded on the end of it.

Description: 2 speed gear reduction unit for the Granite State. Axles pass through the bottom of the gear reduction unit including the 2 fixed sprockets. Main drive comes off the main transmission at each side and connects to the top sprocket of each gear reduction unit. The lower 2 sprockets which the axle passes through run to the front and rear sprockets.

Description: Sadly, this actually looks like a really beefy setup, but it has way too much stuff going on, and alot of spots where part failure can occur. The 2 speed is a nice option though.

Description: This is a shot of the tape I'm using to measure my Trail Boss belt. The one in place is very narrow. I get about 43 1/2 inches around the engine shaft and outside of the secondary clutch. It 1 3/16 inside the primary clutch (between the sheaves). Did I measure that right?

Argo Avenger Transmission

Description: The Avenger transmission is very basic and much easier to work on than I anticipated. This photo gives a view of the clutch dog /shifting collar. This is on the input shaft. Currently the top gear in this photo is engaged. That is the high forward gear. The low forward gear is engaged by sliding the collar towards the bottom of this photo.

Description: The Avenger transmission is very basic and much easier to work on than I anticipated. You can see the open differential on the far right that applies power to both output shafts. The input shaft is on the far left end and the two speed forward gears are on the middle shaft. Not visible in the photo is the reverse gear on the bottom of the middle shaft.
