Max Buffalo Truck

Description: I didn't need this, but I've wanted a Buffalo Truck long time. This one is an early 1991 model with 26's, factory Rule winch, and bearing cages/extensions. It looks to have very little use on it, but it'll still be getting a full rebuild with a brand new 23HP Kohler Command, all new bearings and splined axles, red driven clutch spring, LED lights, factory Recreatives roll cage, factory snow plow, and some sort of bed that I'm going to build that I haven't thought of yet. My AATV collection is now complete.

Description: Here's a vintage Chaparral 6x6 press photo with a former Miss Nevada (I believe that's what it says on the sash). It just goes to show what you what caliber of girls you can pull when you own a 6 wheeler. Heck, even if you wear some corny outfit with a scarf and you can still manage to do this, you'd be crazy not to get 6 wheeler!

Green Attex Superchief Rolling Chassis

Description: I'm slowly making progress on my green Attex build. Today I got the machine test fitted as a rolling chassis. Pretty much everything fits just as it should, so next up after a few minor tweaks here and there, it'll be going in the body. I've been moving at a snail's pace on this project, but it's getting closer to being done.

Attex Lil Truck Briggs Vanguard Conversion

Description: I'm repowering my Attex 'Lil Truck with a 18HP Briggs Vanguard. It's a VERY easy swap with everything being bolt in and go. The engine mounting holes all line up, I used Max/Recreatives choke and throttle cables, and the exhaust from Small Engine Warehouse's ebay store fit absolutely perfect. This was one of the easiest, most straight forward, and simplest engine swap I've ever done. If you have an Attex 450 Tomahawk, or Tomahawk 'Lil Truck, I'd highly recommend a 14-23HP Briggs Vanguard swap.

Description: Took the Hustler out for a ride in the snow today. I can't believe how well those 26" Vampire ASX tires work in the snow.....they float on top of the powder and climb up snow covered hills.

Attex 250 Spirit in green

Description: I picked up this very uncommon 250 Attex Spirit a couple months ago. It was geared a little lower than the Superchief and Tomahawk by using a larger diameter driven clutch and it originally came with a G25A Chaparral engine, which was basically half of a G50B Chaparral engine that came in the Superchief. I've only seen a few of these in pictures and they were all yellow. This is the first green 250 Spirit I've ever seen. Odd, but very cool. Since I have way too many machines, I sold this one to AmphibiousDrew.

Description: A bath and a new set of shoes went a long way. After some years of sitting, I got my Lil Truck looking (and running) great again. It fired right up with just some fresh gas and a jump start.......I couldn't believe it! The Tecumseh OH160 ran flawlessly.

Description: Grinding off the oxidation, old paint and grease that was on the engine shrouding of my Chaparral G50B for my Superchief. Here are the shrouds stripped down, primed, and painted. If anyone needs to color match theirs I have the paint codes from the Rustoleum hi-temp engine enamel. The silver is a near perfect match to the original Chaparral silver.

Titan Tru Power and Super Swamper Vampire

Description: Here's a a side by side comparison of a Titan Tru Power 26x12x12 tire, which is one of the factory tires for a Max IV next to a 26x12x12 Super Swamper Vampire. I'll be using the Vampires on my Super Swamp Fox on Recreatives K lock rims. These should do the trick for those sticky mud holes, but won't swim as fast as the Titans, although I'll sacrifice that for the performance in the mud any day.
