Painted frame

Description: Borrowed the paint booth at work (and a little paint) to put a fresh coat on the frame. The last "fresh coat" was pretty rough, and there had been a bunch of welding done. 4 bearing spacers, plated the front cross member, new LF chain adjuster mount, repaired cracks to the T-20 mounting.

Description: making sure all the parts will fit. The bearing spacers were painted green ( first can that jumped off the shelf at me) just to get some paint on the back sides before they got welded in place so they don't rust out from the back side

Description: A piece of 2x2 square tubing cut to support the bearing flange. The bolts pass through a piece of 3/4 OD 3/8 ID tubing that is welded into the spacer. this assembly is then welded to the frame

Fresh Paint... again

Description: After a few nights burning the midnight oil, the WW frame has all the modifications needed to upgrade to the Argo axles. This morning (through gross misuse of company time and resources), It got a fresh coat of Dupont Emron paint. a couple hours tonight and she will be a "roller" again. Then I can start on building the sprockets. The black spots in the bottom of the tub are ABS Goo/ fiberglass mat repairs. Black was all I had and I wasn't overly concerned with the looks of the chain wells.

Description: Once all the bends are made, the corners get welded together, and filler pieces get welded into the gaps. Then I remove the plate and repeat all the welds on the inside before final installation.

Description: i had to cut the stock engine cover to make the Briggs fit. no time to build a new cover/ cargo rack before Buzco but i had to do something to make it look less hacked. this will work for now. still need to cut some screen for the back and paint it black

Description: the wolf has come a long way in 20 days. a frame out rebuild. engine changed out to a briggs. all new wiring, axles, bearings, chains... tons of body sanding. still a lot to do. my last 2 wheels should be here in the next few days, i'll paint the cage and wheels at the same time and finish bolting it together. then i need to fix the engine cover

Description: i decided on a 18hp Briggs for the wild wolf. after a very long night last night, it is almost ready to go. the only wiring left is the lights and bilge pump. run some fuel line, and finish the exhaust. i used a Max II exhaust manifold. cut off the flex pipe and turned 180*. now i just need to extend the flex pipe to the stock muffler, and wrap it with heat shield to keep the plug wire from melting.

Description: in 2 and a half hours i got farther on the tear down of the wild wolf than i had gotten in 2 and a half weeks on my racer! the 3 stuck axles will get cut out tonight and the frame will be on the way to the blaster.

Description: most of the body is sanded out to 600 grit and has a little shine back. the nose cover shows where i started. for those that liked the zebra stripes, the ghost stripes will probably take years to fade away

Description: had about an hour to work on the wolf today. got started on the body band for the roll cage and winch mount. most of the zebra stripes are gone from the upper body. still a long way to go.
