Jerseybigfoot taught me the art of straightening axles in the field.

      Needed:
      - A long 4x4 or piece of metal under the ATV across to the other side.
-A chain wrapped around the 4x4 and axle as close to the bearing as possible
      -A jack

Rotate the axle until the lowest point is at the bottom. Jack up until you see the axle bending. Let jack down. Check straightness and repeat until it is as straight as possible.

Thanks to both jerseybigfoot and racerrone3 for getting my axle back in usable condition.

Who gets to carry the 4x4 on the trails?
      Who carries the jack?
      Who carries the chain?
      No room left for beer?

Man, that picture is worth a 1000 words. I am going to give that a shot as soon as I can. Thanks, what a great site!
