Took the Hustler out for a ride in the snow today. I can't believe how well those 26" Vampire ASX tires work in the snow.....they float on top of the powder and climb up snow covered hills.

This is the most awsome shot of a Hustler I could ever imagine. I made it my wall paper on my computer!!! I have a 950 or a 980 regular body. I don't know how to tell. Im just starting a rebuild n trying to figure how to get the axles out. I aquired it with a badly bent front axle n have Max IV tracks and extentions for it. The axle bearing locks are assembled inboard instead of on the outside and I would like to know if this is backwards or standard for Hustler. Is there a different axle spaceing on the 980?? Mine has a 54 1/2in overall and 24 1/2 center to center on the rear axles. I'm nuts for those tires and hope to mount them on mine. looks like they'll clear but, seems like they would touch on the rear. Where did you get your rims?? Could you give me the actual height of the 26in Vampires ? Your photo is professional quality!!!! I just sit and look at it. Hustlers Rule!! Dandahermit
