We went riding the Max IV recently and my wife found a mammoth tooth.
We search for mammoth bones, teeth and tusks each summer. The Max IV is the best atv for this, as we need to cross a few creeks.

I'm happy when I find weird & unusual rocks. If I found somethng like that on an outing, I'd be ecstatic!

We found a broken mammoth bone first while driving a stretch of beach we mormally can't drive on due to it being very short and high water with house-size chunks of tundra blocking the beach (they break off and fall over). That day it was low tide and calm. Once we found the bone we decided to drive very slow to search for more. Thats when she saw the tooth just sitting there on the beach. High tide would have hidden it.
