Diesel engine ended up being a clean install, there are adjustable engine mounts to slide motor forward or backward for access & belt tension

Very nice, Looks clean and simple.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Looks good! Nice job on the engine swap! What size diesel is that? How does it perform?

Its a 870cc motor, 25 Horsepower, 48 pounds of torque. The power is amazing. It comes low in the powerband and I seldom rev'd the thing more than half throttle on the ride this weekend. For a machine weighing less than 1000 pounds, its probably overkill. My philosophy on machines is to get the maximum power out of a minimum package, and to keep the mechanical components accessible for maintenance.
