Nice! That's gotta be close to 200 years combined experience in one photo.

The heat that weekend was giving us some fuel delivery problems. I suffered the same problem just before the two-stroke stock race and with Bud K's and Bud F's help was able to get the old war horse firing on all guns before it was time to fly.

If it wasn't for those guys, I'd still be sitting on the grass looking at the starting line. In fact, if this is the two-stroke mod heat race, I kinda missed the start.

Yeah that was mod class. Race #1 of the mains on Sunday. Bud, the top guy at the entire event, rather than getting the show going, held up the beginning of the event to help get you going Don. It was fantastic! Between Bud and the rest racers not in Mod class, there was no way you weren't racing if anyone could do anything about it. Heck, Joe H was using my pocket knife to push the plug wires tight not 5 minutes earlier back there. It speaks volume of Bud for being in there, as well as our racing community for helping each other out so much, even if we are our own competition.
