I picked up an older Bridgeport Mill over the weekend. It was owned by a very small, family-owned machine shop in Erie PA that is relocating down south. This is a shot of it when I went to go pick it up.... It outweighs the Swamp Fox by a lot.

Awesome! Did you get all of those collets with it too?

It may be heavier than the Swamp Fox but I bet it would fit on the front with room to spare

      A mobile press! You're a genius!

The table vise, the collets and the table hold downs (hanging off the lower back of the machine in a blue rack in the picture) came with it. I'll still need a phase converter for it, but it's just a 1hp motor, so it'll be cheap.

Did you get any other tooling with it? I've got three times the cost in tooling than the inital cost of my bridgeport. Tooling/cutter cost will absolutly kill you if your not prepaired for it. Love my old bridgeport, the ways are in excellet condition. They are a great addition to a home shop if you know how to use them, hope your happy with yours.
