I've been doing a little ABS welding on the lower tub of the Centipede. I think somebody ran into it, or backed into something with this corner. It straightened out fairly well, and the preliminary welding on both sides is done. I'm still missing the piece that goes in the hole, but it might be in the Shop Vac.

Yup! The upper and lower both have texture to them. I believe the plastic stock was textured during manufacturing, and then the body was formed. I don't think the ABS is a attributed to the mold itself. Regardless, It'll be about impossible to make the upper shine.

Edit: I don't think the *texture* is attributed to the Centipede mold itself. There, that makes more sense.
