Micmac stopped by to play for a while on Saturday and brought the now Rotax-powered Hustler with him. The picture's a little blurry because it's too hard to focus on something moving that fast. If he can make Ashtabula this year, competition gets a little tougher for the rest of us!

What Don didn't say is that this was first time I was able to open the engine up a bit. My run was timid compared to how Don can drive (scary fast). I had it out on the open dirt road today. The machine went about a fast as I care to go in a 6wheeler with throttle to spare. I have a couple video clips of Don in the machine I'll post up tomorrow. Thanks again Don and to you Mike as well for all the help.

      Mike

Well, if there was throttle to spare, you obviously need to "care to go" a little faster! With a smallish 52+horsepower T-20 machine, I think you'll be amazed at how well it handles at speed. My stock little 503 scoots along pretty well. Your big snarlin' 503+ should genuinely intimidate you. Yank the pipe and put an open chamber on it. It'll feel like you're doing 90.

Ashtabula county airport is just up the road from Pine Lake Raceway. I can make travel arrangements between the tarmac and the track if this would help, lol. Can't wait to see the Warthog in person.

way kool mike. Bring her to Ashtabula. The "Fear" goes away after the first turn. After that the adrenaline drug kicks in.
But in my case it took about 10 laps.
