The good, the barely works, then the "it slide out of the caliper and jammed in it to work a little longer". I have never seen one manage to get that thin. The ussually fail to work before that.

The good one is 1/4". I made more with a hole saw and some clutch/brake lining material. Works great. I just need to keep an eye on the rotors because I think it may be to aggresive?

I got the last stuff from a "Martin spring and drive". local place. I would call around to places like that around you. I'll take a picture of the stuff I currently using on the st300. I got it for $10 and enough to make a set and thinking 6 more ish. Im not sure if it was asbestos or not so all machine work I did under small water stream from garden hose to keep dust down. I used hole saw, didnt even worry about center hole. I did have to grind it some to as my hole saw is tad to big. But still had water running on it. The work great.
