i decided on a 18hp Briggs for the wild wolf. after a very long night last night, it is almost ready to go. the only wiring left is the lights and bilge pump. run some fuel line, and finish the exhaust. i used a Max II exhaust manifold. cut off the flex pipe and turned 180*. now i just need to extend the flex pipe to the stock muffler, and wrap it with heat shield to keep the plug wire from melting.

Hi Racerone- Have you thought about doing away with the old max-2 manifold and switched over to a internal muffler system? Thats what I did in my 1995 max-2. I figured why put the old type back in where i knew it wouldn't be but about a year and the muffler would be rusted out again as before. I posted some pictures of the new muffler system in the max 6 wheeler folder. It was a really simple switch over to the internal system. Check my pictures out you'll see what I'm talking about. i chose to have the stock attex exhaust. i did Beths Max internal, but i wanted this one to exit the stock location. i could remove the cage, and put the belly band back on and this would look like a stock wild wolf.
