I use a 45/70 Marlin for Christmas Tree hunting. 3 or 4 shots will usually bring them down, and if it's just the top of the tree you need, at least the rest of it will survive, lol

Bow...bow saw that is. I always keep it in the argo for firewood or cutting dead fall out of the trail.
