I didnt believe how hard it was to cross until I went moose hunting with a buddy last year. He told me not to shoot anything unless it was within a hundred yards or less of the lake. I decided to venture out and see for myself and after about 200 yards I gave up and turned around. There is no way I could have packed a moose out of that place unless it was close. He ended up shooting a 54" bull about 40 yards from the lake. Taxi'd his float plane to it and had it loaded up in no time!
Fancy that!

). I thought he was OK, a little "road rash" and a limp.............turned out he busted his back leg (femur). I still can't believe that dog, not a wimper out of him in all the times I picked him up to put him in or out of the Argo ( He's a Rotty Cross, weighing in at about 130lbs). WE WERE OUT IN THE BUSH FOR 3 WEEKS ON THAT TRIP
