I'd like to get your suggestions for a good chain lube for my idler chains, I think that's the ones I mean, the ones next to the transmission and that are vertical instead of horizontal on my Argo Frontier. I understand Argo/Frontier chains don't have O-rings or do they????? Anyway, I can't seem to find BelRay chain lube here in Anchorage but did find some PJ-1. All it said on the can tho was that it "stays on the chain". I didn't know if that was good enough to interpret as "non-flinging" or not.
I found a couple other brands (can't remember the names). One brand that said it was white-lithium and non-flinging and then another one that said it was parafin based and non flinging also. Are these any good?? Any comments on these would be welcome also.
