I just purchased a used 2000 Bigfoot. It was in great shape with 110 hours. I've owned many ATV's and utvs but this is my first run with one of these. My oldest is a mechanic but we both have no clue regarding maintenance of these. I have several questions and hope someone can help. I have already noticed the chain tensioner bracket on the rear left is bent. Is this a common problem? We can feel the chains slapping from the seat on both sides. From what I have read this is somewhat normal. Has anyone ever used a dry moly type lube on the chains? How often should we adjust clean and lube the chains? I'm sure I will run across more within the next few weeks. We are going to add a top and windshields with racks for hunting as well as additional lights. I already have some great ideas from the gallery.
