Just by chance I found an argo conquest for sale not far from home. It has a cool top cover, duel trolling motors, winch and low hours. I live in quad and sxs country (KY) and I really only want this thing because it is generally "awesome". But I need a couple of better reasons to convince the wife that I need it.
What I am wondering is how would this machine, with the trolling motors, do in a slow moving river like the Kentucky or in a small lake like Cave Run or Cumberland? Do the trolling motors get the speed up considerably more than the videos I've watched of aatvs without the motors? Are extended day trips in the water advisable?
Also, how would the Argo fair with kids jumping in or out of the water or maybe pulling a big float for the kids? I have seen some with pontoons and that seems like it would add the needed stability.
Any other good "selling points" would also be appreciated.
thanks,
stonnie
