Thanks everyone for the replies and a special thanks toTim at adair argo for donating the tires and wheels.I made some new laterals that are higher and should be a lot easier for him to control but haven't tested them yet.

That's awesome! you're pretty handy in the shop...great job customizing that 6x6 into somthing thats really gonna work for him...easy to see that he is already having a lot of fun with it! Looking forward to more video and stories of his adventures :-)

Your video had me grinning, Roy. Some times a newly injured person can wonder what they can still do for fun. Showing them what's possible goes a long way. I hope Brandon is keeping up with you on the trails before long.

coosaridgerider, this video is way too cool. I think I saw a gin form ear to ear on Brandons face from the first frame on. If not He definately had one one from the first donut!!!! My hat is off to you fir everything you have done on this project for Brandon. That is truely a FATHERS love. This video made my day. Mike

I made the laterals in the video to see if they would work but his left leg gets in the way so i made another set that i think will work better.He has a little trouble with the throttle but with a little time he should get better with it and it gives him a work out that he needs.

I don't remember how much function Brandon has in his hands. If he struggles with the throttle, this idea might help.

I don't know if it would be good for rough terrain or not.

He should be ok with the throttle.I put a new cable and twist throttle so it is very easy to turn.His right hand works good but not much grip and his left hand is worse but he has some special gloves that help him grip better.The biggest issue is the muscle spasm in his legs,May have to strap his feet down.I was thinking about mounting some wake board or ski boots to the floor to heep his feet in place if needed.
