For the next couple of days only here is a sale on some HID and LED lights. This company closes out stuff, often at good prices. I have bought a few things from them and its been a mixed bag. Brand name stuff has been good, just discontinued for the most part. I got some no name LED flashlights from them that didn't last through their first set of batteries. I don't think they take returns so keep that in mind. The prices look good, no idea about the quality in this case.

I bought a pair of round 5 3/4" headlights off ebay and put them in my Max IV. They have replaceable H4 halogen bulbs and wow very bright compared to the old sealed beam lights. I installed an alternator on my Max so running these 55w bulbs plus my extra mounted lights and winch are no problem.Last edited by akranger72; 03-24-2013, 12:31 AM.

What are your thoughts on an upgrade to the stock old round MAX IV headlights?

I use 35W hi/low and fog on my f150, main car, and been running 2 years since just a ballast broke, pretty good hid for the price.
No heating problem in f150 2010 headlight, they are big enough, but in small housing you may have problem with plastic melted, it gets pretty hot, the 55w get hotter :P
if somebody interested for LED ( 9 watts each , 0,75 A on 12V, rofl its a joke)
Pretty sure it will not be as good as 55 classic halogen but for the gain for those who have little charging system look at these, for the argo front beam it fits right in (same bulb type) :

They will NOT consume less power.....55 watts IS the measure of power consumtion. A watt is 1 amp times 1 volt. So at 3.2 amps, they are not 55 watts, they are more like 40watts. They may very well produce 5x the light output though, that has to be measured in lumens....or in foot candles as it hits the ground.

So correct me if im wrong, but these 55 watt HID lights create 5X the light output of stock 55 watt lights while consuming LESS POWER than the stock lights [3.2 amps to be precise] so they are a perfect upgrade for folks that are looking for more easy light right?Originally posted by jpswift1 View PostI'm into sport bikes and many of those guys on the forums have been using the DDM Tuning HID kits and have been quite pleased with them.
