Adjust the bands if you can not find nuetral in both gears when off and jacked up. Stupid question though is the belt too tight or loose from an adjustment you've forgot to mention?

This may be a dumb question, but......its smoking when you are trying to drive the machine, and not smoking when it's in neutral, right?

belt starts smoking and gets in a bind at half throttle is this my t20 or driven clutch. it was working ok in august when i broke an axle
