Easy to make and bolt to the existing sprocket if you cut the old sprocket down to a drive flange. the split sprocket is used on karts. Just saw cut on the root between teeth

I believe the thread may have been for taper sprockets which are more common.

That is what I put in my Attex trail machine. Splits were too much$$$

allwheel, the only co. i know of is tsubaki that makes the split sprockets. check them out on line and also probably can find a dealer near you, etc. good luck, johnboy va.

At some point in the past there was a thread about these but I simply cannot find it now. The idea being that it was easier to do maintenance on a machine with 2 piece sprockets such as: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Full-Split-...QAAOSw0fhXj8mp

One forum member replaced all of their sprockets with this style. My Coot’s driven sprocket that mounts on the front driveshaft has always been missing 2 teeth (right next to one another) So I have to keep the chain very tight, it never skips but I hate knowing I’m jerry rigging it to work. Replacing the sprocket by sliding it off is absurd, would have to dissemble the entire torque transmitter box, remove front axles, engine whole mess. These split sprockets would be perfect but I am having a hard time tracking them down for sale. Anyone know where I can buy these? I even know the exact model number for one brand but they tell me I need to find a distributor and none have worked out so far

I found one place that would custom make it but they wanted $400! Not a chance when I know they manufacture them production wise for less than $60
