I’m thinking of putting a speedometer on my maxII and have gone over all the threads on the subject and found that most are using bicycle one's to do the job.
has any body tried using an automotive aftermarket tip?
I have gotten a NEW not china VDO speedometer with censer that will read the speed up to 45Mph for $20, I have not hooked it up yet to try it but should not be a problem. I don’t think my max will go over 35Mph unless I put a much bigger motor and change the gearing.
Using a GPS is OK but have found many times that they are not acuret unless there from the military and you have the current cod's to use the satellite.
Anyway have any other members used automotive speedometers in there machine’s?
VDO's ant cheep but this company got a bunch in and at $20 i could not resist.
