best 26" tires

Any recommendation on 26" tires for a Max IV. Mostly for mud and rice fields. I am looking for the best compromise between of soft ride, mud traction and water performance.

Has anyone mounted a rubber boot where the control levers go into the floor to keep trash out of the sprockets?
