Here are the specs:
This 1969 KID 8X8 2 passenger Amphibious ATV all-terrain vehicle is a very scarce survivor ready to be taken out and enjoyed. The KID ATV was developed by LTV Aerospace of Tyler, Texas to be used in Viet Nam, but the contact was never awarded. The construction was done by an LTV affiliate company Kinetics International of Tyler, Texas. About 1,000 were built and were later sold at a fraction of their cost. The vehicle was built using costly MIL-Spec components. It featured all-steel construction and full-time 8X8 drive. The vehicle is powered by a 30 HP Wisconsin V-4 air cooled motor with power transmission by dual hydrostatic drive. There is a PTO in the back. The KID is capable of climbing a 70% and can counter-rotate (spin in place). The hydrostatic drive is unique to the vehicle can do such maneuvers as changing from forward to backward at 25 MPH while going in the same direction by turning and pulling back the stick. The KID ATV is in solid shape. The body has some dents. The motor runs great and it drives normally. There's you chance to own a very scarce amphibious KID 8X8 ATV.
