Can't seem to talk myself into it anymore, last time I tried to climb our Flare Stack 160' high, I only made it to about 120ft before my hands refused to take me any higher.
RDYou've got to have done it to know it

You need to be up there and feel the buzz when your foot slips or something, the adrenalin rush is out of this world, even when ropedTo be honest I really miss climbing, but I'm just not supple / flexible enough any more. The feeling of achievement when you've done a route, even if only a few feet off the floor, is tremendous
You should try some low climbs, you may enjoy it.

Funny how something like this gets built with enough thought for an elevator ,but after that has some interesting obstacles and transitions to climb around and over.

i'm ok until about 70 feet. At about 50 to 60 feet my legs get week. 70 is about my max. I'm into ham radio, my tower is 64 feet. I will be setting it back up soon. If you read the forums on tower climbing they say the insurance companies charge outrages prices. They have to be insured for commercial work. Many say they have to smoke a couple left handed cigs before starting up. They are still crazy.

Every body talks about climbing...I only needed one break to watch this...
Climbing up seems like the easy part....I would not want the climb back down having to navagiate around all those obstacles and really not sure about the footing....Hope they pack a parachute....that may be the easy back down.....

[QUOTE=brushcutter There has not been enough money printed to get me to do that! Just the movement of the camera as he climbed is enough to make you think you are a goner. I think the 84 said it best... oh HELL NO![/QUOTE]
My thoughts exactly!

Aww JEEZUS please don't look down like that! They were way up there at the start of the video and it still took 7 + minutes to reach the top! There has not been enough money printed to get me to do that! Just the movement of the camera as he climbed is enough to make you think you are a goner. I think the 84 said it best... oh HELL NO!
