Thanks Sol. I'm going to continue the nagging in this thread. Bring your food to ashtabula for a day. Even if you don't bring a machine, we will make sure you get to ride the trails. If you leave with another machine, things won't spiral out of control. Trust us, we have all been there before and none of us have too many machines.

Sliced fresh fruit, steel cut oats with all kinds of fixins, waffles, sliced cheese and salamis, apricot juice, french pressed coffee.

Morning tree rat chasers and moose steak makers!
Grits, country ham with redeye gravy, biscuits with cheddar. Scrambled eggs, sliced peaches and cream. OJ and coffee.

Time to get ready and cook a moose stir fry.....Nice chunks of moose, red, green, yellow and orange sweet peppers, green oninon, fresh mushrooms, baby carrots, celery, baby corn and some other veggies I cannot spell....serverd over a plate of steaming fluffy white rice.

Done the turkey the easy way...Had my wife cook it....
It was cooked slowly in a roasting pan on low heat, basting every hour or so. She added some spices...not sure what....I do know that it was great tasting and not to dry.
