gave them to a buddy..he is going to try to make a complete running unit with the bulk of the good stuff..we have all seen lost causes, but some see other things.. there is no doubt in my mind that he will eventually piece one together, with a crap load of parts left over...this is the main reason they did not get parted or sold..they can be seen in my photo gallery

Eddie. I'm curious. When you say you hauled away the max's and the argo's. Just where did they go? Scrap man, landfill?

you know, after posting that last night, I got to thinking about it...that bigfoot 980 that jp has is the most awesome hustler I have ever laid eyes on...I could sell or swap some of my buggies and locate a 980 project...that would be the most swell thing..the 2 machines I picked up a few weeks ago I bought sight unseen...I had high hopes all the way there that they were both 980's...then there's that luck thing..they weren't...I had a guy interested in the sport and picked one of those for him...I guess I need to place a wanted 980 project...wife will kill me. say's I have too many now...

r13, rest assured that I have learned the true definition in life..take care of #1 .. I am digging through parts trying to locate for both of you a set of cluster gears. I won't need a set for some time and will most likely build my own..with me it's a speed thing. been that way most of my life, just can't seem to go fast enough. when I was younger, I had two modes, all the way on, or shut off. many broken things on my body as a result...

Eddie, I am sorry that I misunderstood your spring cleaning post, I kinda feel a leetle dumb if they were for sale, this would have been posted in the for sale area.... all apologies.

Please do tell me more about any help that could be availble on the MAX side of the house though. any help there would be greatly appreciated.

WHOA!!! hold up there fellas...I believe that this post has been misunderstood!! My spring cleaning, got rid of the max's and the argo's..wasn't planning on getting rid of the hustlers, oh no, not the hustlers...them be my favorites... I thought that I would help you guys out with a set of cluster gears because I live on a lathe at work most of the time. Not a problem for me to make a set when needed...get rid of my girls (hustlers)....??

I may still be able to lay my hands on a frame for ya..I'll check. they've been gone for a week.....

I have more fun reading these posts than you guys have writing them some days. I agree though, I would like to hear more about what you have to offer. I had not considered a Hustler as a second machine but since it is what all the cool kids are getting into these days it may be an option. This means there will be alot of great how to tips and tech info available soon. Plus, I drive out to OK all the time and stopping by to pick something up may not be a big issue if it fits into plans

Unless of course you have enough max 2 or 4 parts left to get a frame together.... Lol. It seems the used machines are going for insane full price or are very quickly sold and I still need a second machine.
    Please see below...

You don't have to do it especially for me, but is there an easy way that you can give a little run down on the characteristics of each of the machines you're looking to sell, and what price you might be asking? I see that you have a lot of the brown poly machines in various states, but I (and probably other folks) would show more interest if our appetites were whetted with details. 'Still $ucks that you're 14 hours away, though.

I'd love to take a 950 project off of your hands if you weren't so far away. Do you have a spare pair of center sprocket tubes from a 950 by chance? I'd like to see how the 980 responds to a more reasonable gearing change.

Eddie, in the event that you have 2 sets (or Hydromike gets on your nerves and you don't want to deal with him ) I'm also looking for a set of center sprockets for the same reason.
