Hey RD, if I remember correctly this kind of driving is how you got the handle of "Rock Doctor" correct? Looks like all had a great day and any day out with the kids is a good day! // RR
"I had hit the beach a little too fast on the way in and the boat was High & Dry"
Lol, the problem with all the "Good" spots is that there is never anything to tie the boat off to. There's a very fine line between too much and not enough when parking on shore. There are no brakes, so when you come in too hot, all you can do is shrug and deal with it later. Sometimes it's a pretty good fight

What is bannock.Looks like everyone had a good time.I love the boat.I'm from the south, never heard of bannock?
As made by indigenous North Americans, bannock is generally prepared with white or whole wheat flour, baking powder and water, which are combined and then fried in rendered fat, vegetable oil, or shortening, baked in an oven or cooked on a stick.
In this particular case,
3 cups flour
1 cup butter
1 tsp salt
1 tblsp Baking Powder
1.5 cups water
Mix it all together, wrap it around a stick, cook over campfire, top with home made jam, enjoy
Loaded up the jetboat and took mom and my family up one of the local rivers for a Hotdog.
We made a campfire, roasted Bannock on sticks, had Smokies, did a little Target Shooting with the kids, everything was going great untill the rain started and the wind picked up. Had to build a shelter with a tarp and some driftwood. We couldn't even make a quick Getaway, as I had hit the beach a little too fast on the way in and the boat was High & Dry

Didn't get a pic of the boat parked on shore this trip, but it was like this, only a little worse
