Hi,
have a vanguard 16hp from a welder (1992 I think) with the following mods:
bored 0,02, new pistons and rings
cleaned up intake and exhaust
bigger fuel jet
headers (0,9")
increased advance(3mm taken from key)
no governor
no muffler
increased tension on transmission spring(comet)
engine has great power and runs very well but goes to 4k then lowers to 3,7 3,8.
Any suggestions on what can it be or just normal behavior for stock carb and cam in this engine?
any help will be appreciated
