Can any of you great fellows give me some insight on this starter? It is for my jlo 440, it needs a shaft bushing and gear, I'm sure brushes wouldn't be a bad idea. Can anyone tell me if this is is compatible with other starters? I'm not turning up much online for rebuild kits and new gears. Theres a ton for Kawasaki 440 though. Is there another starter that's an upgrade or replacement? I've decided to just run the jlo for now and get the carb right until I stumble into a deal on a 4 stroke. As always thanks guys.
