I sent the guy an email and this is what he replied with:

"Mike all I know of that I have is photo’s and logo’s and such for the Attex stuff and would be happy to entertain an offer for you to take the whole lot."

haha, i cant promise you guys anything, but youve helped me out alot and i'll help you guys out if i can. Im not sure whats all in there but i do remember seeing 3-4 attex bodies as a kid.

awesome, im dont feel like im ready to install a transmission in it yet, but i do plan on dropping a new motor in it. I think if im easy with it 18 horse power should be ok....

In the mean time im going to look for a t-20. Actually my grandpa used to work with attex's not quite sure what but here is a picture of him (back in the day) http://www.attexatvs.com/images/GeorgMartinBigFoot.jpg

But anyways he has a bunch of stuff for them (like a garage full of bodies and parts) when he died things got ugly and the house got forclosed on. But everything is still in there so im going to try and get ahold of the bank and see what i can get us. Ill keep you posted on the the items in the garage.

Scramblers were manufactured with 7,8,12,16hp 4 stroke engines that ran very well. My daughter drives a nearly mint 12hp Marc12 Scrambler that goes pretty much everywhere my ATTEX goes with chevron tires.
Scrambler did build some 340 cc two strokes that also performed well.
I you drive the Scrambler knowing you don't have reverse you can get by just like a snowmobile without reverse. If you want to take the Scrambler and do some extreme riding you need reverse or travel with friends with winches. The t-20 installation works very well and probably could be installed and retain the back seat.

These are questions for JeseyBigfoot and Joe M. Both have upped the hp of the scramblers a few fold. They also put T-20 trannies in to deal with the power.

I have a 1964 scrambler with a 8HP honda in it. It really does not seem to have enough power. I was planning on putting a 18HP in it. Do you think that is too much power? I realize that the t-20's can handle much more power but this does not have t-20.

What do you guys think?

Also while im posting what do you think about using spray on bed-liner for the bottom them.

Also i would like to let you know that i really appreciate all the help that you guys have given me in the last few days. I can feel myself become addicting to these things already!!
