I've slimed the tires and that did the trick. I never used slime before but I'm now a believer. Thanks Mike

Have you put slime in the tires yet? If not do that and drive it around for a while. Drive it a few more times throughout the week and your problem should go away.

My 2 pennies
I had one leak on the rim after wirebrushing/repainting, it looked better but still leaked, I put green slime in it and set the tire on each side turing, ect making sure the whole inside was well coated, rim leak gone.

Also check for rusted spots on the rims. I have had leaks due to that.

while checking your tires for leaks with soapy water, a lot of people fail to look at the valve stems. the cores could be loose, be tight and leaking (dirt holding them slightly open) or the stems themselves could be dry rotted.
just a few ideas before you buy new tires

I've punctured a few of my tires and they were actually too bad to fix and yet I've installed tubes and have been motoring for quite some time with no problems.

I keep losing air pressure and can't find any leaks in them even using soapy water. Also, where are the drain plugs located in the tub ? Thanks for any help from another old new guy

Goodyear tires.
I messed up this thread from the beginning. The tires I have are 21 x 11 x 8 not 22's. It was late , dark, and I was tired . Thanks, Jeepfxr

Goodyear 21's
Thanks for the replies. I guess that I better concentrate on finding out why the tires I have are losing pressure before I give up on them. What would be involved in going to 22's other than a lot of money ? Amphiman, do you have some for sale ? Thanks again, what a great group of guys you are. Jeepfxr
