I have a set of eight ASX tires that are mounted on eight, black, bead lock rims, ready to install on my Mudd-Ox 8x8 when I pick it up. But, I,ve also been wanting to install some High lifter " Outlaw " tires on an amphib for a very long time , I just needed an amphib that would counter rotate to be able to use these tires on. The cuped side walls that are on each side of an Outlaw tire are way too aggressive for any skid steer machine. The exception to this rule is the counter rotating HydroTraxx , 6x6. These two Utube video,s prove how well they swim in the water, and its a well known fact how these tires perform at national , atv mud events.
Notice how well the Highlifter Outlaw tires swim the second time the Hydrotraxx goes into the lake ,and then does a 180 before returning to the shore. The Outlaw tires also counter rotate very well in the water too!
