Well I had to remove my rh scrambler clutch disc in order to install new clutch material.I soon remembered why I had not done this side .I could not get the roll pin out so I ended up using a die grinder to grind out both sides of the hub on the clutch disc the roll pin went through.I got the disc off and I have been unable to drill through the shaft.I remembered that I used acy.-oxy-torches on the other side to get the shaft red hot then I was able to drill the old pin out.Well with no gas or oxy I decided to just mig weld the disc back on the shaft.Really its more like two large spot welds.Do you think this will work? The original roll pin I think was eith 3/16" or 1/4" .I am kind of surprised how those small pins did not snap as they seem to carry all the torque on the scrambler drivetrain or trans.
