    Argo wont turn off

This past weekend while playing with my 94 Argo Vanguard when I went to turn off the ignition switch the motor just kept on running, I tried turning the key many times and still nothing. I am thinking bad ignition switch. I now have to try to find a new one. Is there a good place to purchase older Argo parts around? HELP!!!!

Be sure the kill wire is still attached to the engine and/or the switch.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

An easy test to see where the problem may lay is to ground the little stud on the front of the engine near the ID tag, if it shuts down the problem is outside and if it doesn't the problem is inside. An inside problem could be the wire off the stud or a bad wire.

The key switch grounds the ignition to stop the engine. The magneto coil does not need an external power source to run, so the connector plug to the engine wiring harness is loose or the ground wire to the ign switch is loose. Possible bad ign sw, not likely. //RR

Had a chance to look it over this weekend and found a ground wire that connects to the front of the motor pulled loose. I had to change the fuel pump just before that happened. Runs great now and even turns off.
